One-on-One Executive Development (Coaching) Executive coaching improves business results by increasing effective leadership behaviour. The Learning Quest approach combines insight and action. We help executives understand their strengths, opening the door for them to capitalise on opportunities and achieve their highest potential. Likewise, gaining insight into blind spots enables leaders to avoid potential pitfalls. Insight is key, but action is required for real change to occur. To that end, we work to translate insights into behavioural change that will make a difference for the individual and the organisation. Each coaching program is individualised to meet the specific
needs of the executive and the organisation. All programs are grounded
in psychological and management research. They begin with a discovery
phase to understand the current situation and goals prior to launching
into the active coaching phase. Ongoing assessment of the program by the
executive and the coach and evaluation of the program at its completion
are important parts of the process. Leadership teams differ from other types of teams in that each member is required to play two parts: team member and strong independent leader. Creating synergy and maximising leadership capability within an organisation is the goal of Leadership Team Development. Achieving improved business outcomes by assisting managers to gain insight on how others perceive their leadership is the goal of multi-rater feedback. Research demonstrates that leaders who have a clear understanding of their strengths and development needs as perceived by others are more effective leaders. Learning Quest provides one-on-one feedback sessions. Leaders are encouraged to use data collected through the multi-rater process to expand their view of themselves. The sessions are developmentally focused and include coaching on how to create a development plan to further enhance leadership capability. Learning Quest uses the Center for Creative Leadership's® BENCHMARKS® multi-rater feedback tool. This tool is used globally with mid-level to senior managers in a range of industries and businesses. The Center for Creative Leadership® has completed extensive research in the initial development and subsequent revisions of the tool. are trademarks owned by The Center for Creative Leadership On-line Mentoring and Coaching Evaluation The popularity of Coaching and Mentoring programs within corporate and non-profit organisations has created a need to better understand the processes underlying these programs and to objectively measure outcomes. Learning Quest's online measurement process provides an efficient and effective method to measure changes created or supported by these programs. Organisations utilise Learning Quest's confidential methodology for gauging progress and to determine changes and updates needed for mentoring and coaching programs. Psychological research provides a foundation for the measurement
process. Continued ongoing research enables us to evolve the methodology
by taking advantage of changes in technology and increased understanding
of the impact of interpersonal relationships on the learning process. Provision of information about strengths and development areas to leaders is a method for increasing insight and for motivating positive changes in behaviour. Using a range of psychological tests, inventories, interviews,
